The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES invites eligible vendors to submit a proposal for the Jefferson County Short Term Assessment and Respite (STAR) Program. The selected vendor(s)
will be required to provide and support forty-eight (48) short term assessment and respite homes in Jefferson County. The STAR team must be trained and work with county, state and other professional staff to assess and meet the needs of children upon initial entry into foster care. A more complete description of the services sought for this project is provided in Section 3, Scope of Project of the RFP document. Proposals submitted in response to this solicitation must comply with the instructions and procedures described
in the procurement document.
