New SNAP & TANF System

The new Alabama Combined Eligibility System (ACES) pilot begins Monday, October 5, in five counties: Montgomery, Elmore, Tuscaloosa, Dallas, and Talladega.

ALABAMA DHR LAUNCHES CHIPPED EBT CARDS

The Alabama Department of Human Resources is excited to announce that the first round of Alabama EBT cardholders are now receiving new, chip-enabled EBT cards. The new cards will greatly increase card security, adding more protection against the theft of EBT benefits.
