Resource Management negotiates, manages and monitors the department's social service contracts and provides oversight, technical assistance and support services to the public, contractors, state departments, and Department of Human Resources county and state offices/divisions. Resource Management consists of:

5. Office of Resource Development and Utilization Review

Vendor Registration

To become a vendor, you must register on the state's STAARS Vendor Self Service (VSS) portal. By registering, you will be notified by mail or email about upcoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from DHR. Visit procurement.staars.alabama.gov and click "Register" to begin the registration process. Announcements and RFPs are posted to DHR's website at dhr.alabama.gov/announcements.
