The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, (hereinafter referred to as
“the Department”) invites you to submit a proposal to provide 40 (20
female and 20 male) slots of Intensive Residential Services in
Montgomery County to children in the custody of the Department. These
services must be provided in a congregate care setting, and must consist
of room, board and an array of services for children with serious and/or
chronic emotional and/or behavioral management problems that interfere
with their ability to function in a family, school and/or community
setting outside of a residential environment. Proposals to provide
treatment for children or youth who have a need for treatment for sexual
aggression or reactive behaviors should not be submitted in this
category.
