The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES seeks qualified vendors to provide services through the Employment and Training Program-Central. Services must be provided at the local level to recipients of Food Assistance benefits that are ages 18-49 years. The purpose of this program is to improve the employability of this population through training and education, and to assist them in obtaining employment to improve their economic circumstances. Services provided through the Employment and Training Program-Central must include, but is not limited to: job training, education and support services, volunteer opportunities, and paid employment opportunities in the following counties: Elmore, Lowndes, Lee, and Mobile.
