Apply Today for a Conference Scholarship!

Individuals who care for infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in a child care setting are eligible to apply for a scholarship funded by the Alabama Department of Human Resources to cover the $100 registration cost to attend the virtual Alabama Early Childhood Education Conference hosted by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education. Conference learning sessions will be recorded and available to view on demand for a period of 2 months beginning October 21, 2020. The conference will offer a track specific to infant and toddler caregivers.

The Alabama Department of Human Resources will select 100 individuals to receive the scholarship. Recipients will be required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of professional development from the conference by December 21, 2020. Scholarship recipients will be notified on Friday, October 9, 2020 and will be automatically registered for the conference. Recipients will receive an email with instructions on how to access the virtual conference prior to October 21, 2020.
