We are committed to supporting you every step of the way, ensuring you have the tools and assistance you need to navigate the system with confidence.

About ACES Self-Service Portal (SSP)

The ACES Self-Service Portal (SSP) is our new, easy-to-use system that helps Alabama residents receiving SNAP and/or TANF benefits apply for and manage their benefits. We created ACES to make it faster and simpler for you to get the help you need. Everything is in one place, so you don’t have to visit different offices or deal with confusing paperwork.

Key Features of ACES

  • One Login

Use one account to apply, check your benefits, and manage your information for your SNAP and/or TANF cases.

  • Check Application Status:

No more guessing! Find out where your application stands with just a few clicks.

  • Request Appointments:

Schedule or check upcoming appointments easily.

  • Safe and Secure:

Your personal information is protected at every step.

About the ACES Pilot

The ACES pilot will start in 5 counties to test the new system and ensure its good functioning for everyone. The pilot counties include: Dallas, Elmore, Montgomery, Talladega, and Tuscaloosa. Clients in these counties will use ACES and share their feedback to help improve it. This test is essential before ACES is used in all 67 counties in Alabama.

Once ACES is live, the current system will no longer be available. You will be directed to ACES to create a new account and access your services.
