MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Human Resources announces that the Montgomery County Department of Human Resources will return to its permanent Mobile Highway location on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Montgomery DHR was temporarily relocated in 2022 as renovations took place at the Mobile Highway building; those renovations have now concluded.

“We are proud to open this newly renovated facility which will afford clients a better experience and allow employees to better serve the community,” Commissioner Nancy Buckner said. “We want to thank the Montgomery County Commission, the Montgomery County Board of Human Resources, the employees and the clients who have all been helpful and accommodating during this renovation.”
