SNAP benefits to decrease in November
MONTGOMERY- Families and individuals enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will see a decrease in their benefits beginning in November. The decrease is a result of the expiration of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) that went into effect in April of 2009.
Alabama EBT System Now Operational
The vendor for Alabama's Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system has completed their efforts to restore the computer system that was not operational earlier today. All EBT transactions should now function normally.
