The ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES seeks qualified vendors to
provide Pre Adoption Services to
families and children in the adoption process.
Services must include:
information and referral services; a library; support groups;
educational opportunities; and counseling.
Selected vendors will be required to recruit, train and complete
approved home studies for a minimum of twenty-five (25) special needs
adoptive homes, and twenty-five (25) child specific adoptive homes per
year for the term of the contract. All
proposed adoptive homes must obtain final approval from the Department.
Contracting vendors will receive up to $5000 per adoptive home after all
requirements are met.
