The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is a national association that preserves and enhances the quality of social work education for practice that promotes the goals of individual and community well-being and social justice. The Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners is a regulatory organization comprised of licensed social work practitioners whose mission is:
  • To protect the public from incompetent, unethical and unlawful social work practice.
  • To enforce qualification standards for all levels of licensure and certification.
  • To delineate unlawful conduct through disciplinary procedures against practitioners who violate applicable laws or rules.
