Quality Control

The Quality Control (QC) Division performs monthly reviews of Food Stamp cases to ascertain whether or not the recipients' eligibility for benefits has been correctly determined by County Departments of Human Resources. Cases are selected for review on the basis of a random sampling methodology specified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Errors in eligibility for benefits revealed by the QC reviews are brought to the attention of the County Department of Human Resources or the Food Assistance Division in the State Department of Human Resource.
